Think of it this way. We are a part of creation, the entire creation. The universe and all things contained within it. The only difference between humans and everything else is our ability to reflect, think, evaluate and assign value to what we know. We are the universe's ability to think back on itself.

As humanity moves forward it has the opportunity to seriously consider what has been done. Indeed, we are not the same humanity we were a year ago. We are different, always different. Like a river that never flows the same in the same spot, so is humanity entirely fluid in over six billion different dynamic representations.

Finally, what makes humanity truly unique is that the single person is as important as the whole. Lose that person and humanity is diminished. Gain a person and humanity has the potential to be enhanced. What it all comes down to is our ability to recognize our own evolving importance and how we are going to instill this with those yet to come.
