Do you accept Jackie Kelley's excuse?
Jackie Kelly says the flyers were a prank after a few beers. Oh Jackie is your husband that bigger two pot screamer that he would find this funny, and I really have concerns about your sense of humor aswell

If it was funny, then why did they sneak around in the middle of the night?
If it were a chaser-style prank, they would have worn fake Osama suits like Chas did at APEC.
It's a lame excuse, and she should be sacked from the Liberal Party alongside her husband.

I don't accept Jackie Kelly's excuse about the race-based letters being a joke/prank or send up of Labor's policies.
I heard her being interviewed on ABC National Radio and she ummed, ahhed and had plenty of silences during her answers. How dare she say they were doing a similar prank like 'The Chaser' team, when clearly it was a low, desperate, deliberate and dirty style of politics.
'The Chaser' team would always check with the ABC legal department before embarking on any stunt. And they would always clearly identify themselves as 'FAKE' officials etc whenever they pull any pranks like the APEC stunt.
Jackie Kelly has lowered and disgraced herself and her party (Liberals) with this latest act of idiocy. Even John Howard condemned the actions of the those involved and the contents of the letters, which were shoved into people's letterboxes, without authorisation or approval by the Liberal Party.

Kelley and co. are absolutely appalling.
This is the second time the Kelley camp has been caught out with some extremely dodgy campaigning. The Libs did something similar in Greenway during the 2004 election.

Its a pathetic excuse see everybody can have a few beers and do something they regret in the morning BUT how did these pamphlets get printed if it was only drunken prank surely they sobered up eventually to think about their actions.

Are you joking!!
This was a clear attempt to get the racist vote and no surprises it comes from the Liberals. This has worked in the past. There are enough racist muslim haters out there already without one of our political parties promoting it.
Remember she and he husband are tared with the same political brush as Howard!!
And worse people will make excuses for this kind of behaviour and continue to vote for an out of date, came on the first fleet, racist bunch like the Liberals!!

No, it now becomes apparent that she was involved in similar scams at prior elections. The behavior is symptomatic of the Liberal Party from top to bottom.Whatever it takes, whatever the lie, whatever the cost to other people do it if it means an extra vote.

No I don't except her excuse. This poor excuse for a politician has previous form in dirty under handed tactics to get elected. It is no surprise that one of John Howard's favourites would try something like this. After all her boss is using under handed tactics to get re- elected . Shame on everyone involved.

No way, if she thinks thats funny, she obviously has got a very different sense of humour than the rest of the population.

would this have brushed over so quickly if it was the spouse of a labor party member? and the fact that he was a member of the liberal party himself. Time for howard to come out pro muslim it's his only hope!!!
