I just converted my house to CFL energy saving bulbs. Now what do I do with all my old bulbs?

Send them to me. I'll use them because I don't care about saving energy.

I would not have replaced working bulbs with CFLs, but since you already have, just throw the old ones in the trash.

put them back in, and as they have a rather short life span, gradually replace them with the new bulbs, you'll save money and delay for some time the energy saving program.

They can be used in craft projects if you take the inside part out and wash the bulb, inside and out.Google for how to use lightblulbs for crafting or something like that. They make great eyes for insects, stoppers for glass bottles and I've heard of making them into flower vases, hanging or fixed to various surfaces.Hope you are inspired to check into it!!!

Offer them on http://www.freecycle.org./ Someone will use them, and you won't be contributing to the landfill before the bulbs' life is up.

Haha....got a bb gun? I got a kick out of that...never thought about that before.....Have you ever seen those men that eat them on tv? Send them to one of those men....They'll appreciate that they dont have to buy new bulbs.

Just throw them out. Or save them as spares.

It's less wasteful then putting them back in use.
