what happened to free speech? - In Australia, which Surfa 101 is from, we don't have it. No Bill Of Rights like America, and it is not mentioned in the constitution.

Of course the Rule Of Law gives us "fundemental human rights", but nowhere is it written that Australians have the freedom of speech.

Hey spooky if you haven't notice this forum is more like the labor gathering I think there are more of you guys here than there are Liberal supporters you only have to look at the low ratings the liberal questions and answers get, Ive had answers reported as well so does that mean the Labor supporters did that, some people are toooooo sensitive

Free Speech is the right to yell " Theater " in a crowded fire.

it got suppressed by the liberals and john howard, as long as you spoke out in favour of the libs, you were free to say what you wanted, but if not then you had to shut up.

"Liberty means responsibility..." is the beginning of a famous quote. Freedom, if you'd care to look it up, always come with responsibilities and duties. For one thing, one should not exploit one's freedom of speech, or say things that offend others. It is rude and inconsiderate.

Free speech does not extend to forcing another to repeat our ideas. Thus Yahoo can delete anything it wishes.
