You need to come to Houston, Texas we have 4 seasons in one day..... I know this had nothing to do with your question. But, we ride all year long here and plus i have had too many redbulls now i'm just blurting things out.

I stop riding once it gets below 40, hard to enjoy it then. With a little cabin fever I'll get out just to, but as far as actually putting it away for winter.... I never plan on it

I'm too much of a know-it-all smarty-pants to ask questions.

That would mean admitting there is something I don't know and that's almost as bad as stopping and asking directions.

PS Danny... I have heated Handlebar grips so ner ner ne ner ner lol, best thing since cam driven valvegear.

As of about the end of September my bike was tucked away in the garage, the weather has not been friendly up here is Scotland and after spending so much time keeping the bike looking lovely who would want to take it out to get all covered in crud and road grit!! I spend as much time answering questions on here as I did riding my bike!!

    Watch how you go!!

Used to use my bike every day to commute, but a change of job means it's just as quick taking the car now.

Used the bike last week as I needed to get somewhere quick after work and I'd forgotten how much of a laugh riding in town was! (Slidey too).

I'm a all year biker in U.K I don't ask questions but answer a few, I'm surprised that this section seems pretty empty recently.

You are right and I am trying to keep in touch but for many the bike goes into hibernation along with the critters. Yes mine has too and I am ashamed of myself for not being an all year rounder

    Age has made me soft

uhm, perhaps because bikers usually meet and drink beer or fix bikes rather than be computer people.

But perhaps you mean "people that own bikes". In that case, yep, it's winter!

I rode mine today and will ride it tomorrow, though if very bad weather is forecast I use the car instead.

I hate sitting in traffic queues polluting the planet!
