Help With removing acoustic guitar finish!?

hi i need some help removing this acoustic guitar finish! The guitar is a Fender DG-7 and i was able to remove the back of the guitars finish but the front is way different. I bought this Low Odor AIRCRAFT remover brand stripper from Klean-strip i bought from walmart. But after letting a heavy layer set for a few hours,when i removed it it didnt remove all the finish and it left this like white stuff from the finsh on it. I dont know if it is a lot of poly but its not coming of with the stripper i have and i dont want to sand all of it. PLEASE help somebody any ideas or tips?
