The bad college football teams are ruining the championship game?
With all the good teams losing, shouldnt we be blaming the bad teams for all these upsets, or the BCS as a whole. I personally believe we should have a playoff like everyone else?
lets hear some of your opinions.

It's not that "good teams are losing".
Underrated teams are exposing
overrated teams for what they really are.
AP, USA Today, Coaches and the BCS play favorites.
Then the truth comes out!

I really like the answer above me, but for a playoff system you have to make sure that every conference, except the Indipendents gets an automatic bid so in the opening round you could get a matchup like LSU/KU or a game pitting the ever tough ULM Warhawks against a powerhouse like the Akron Zips. That is the reason they don't switch to a playoff and by the way KU and Mizzou deserve to play in the National Championship this year because THEY'RE THE REAL DEAL!!!!

LOL how about you blame the teams that lost the games. The BCS is already a problem. Time for playoffs- scheduling is not an excuse- Division I (formally Div II) just started playoffs this week so they'll be done before the semester is over so these schools can obviously do it also.
The hell with tradition

Back in the day, coaches went undefeated by allocating extensive time and talent to the defense. Today, coaches put too much into complex offenses. Defensive teams win due to the fact that you never lose if the other team can't score. That defensive mentality produced many undefeated teams. Only USC has this defensive focus today, they also run a fairly simple non-shotgun offense. They also always challenge for the national championship and have the most recent undefeated and untied streaks. Even in a down year USC still remains in the hunt due to defense. In about two years they will start another multi-season undefeated streak all due to a defensive focus. So an over emphasis on offense has ruined the undefeated seasons.

The fraud teams fill up their schedule with cupcakes. That means that the good teams have to play each other and the fakes can just cruise by, playing almost no teams with winning records.
Somehow I hope the BCS will work itself out, but it's not looking good at this point. No way should Kansas or Mizzou be anywhere near the National Championship

I think this year we may see the blow that is the beginning of the end of the BCS. Because if Hawaii and Kansas run the table why should they not meet for the championship since they will both have no losses?
Division I football needs a play off like Division II and III have.

I would like a playoff system.
I darn sure don't want to see the speed of W Va against the "stuck in cement" players of Ohio ST.
I think they could include all the bowls in the playoffs.
People would watch LSU/BYU in the Humanitarian bowl as a opening round game in December a lot more than Bowling Green/N Texas or some other pathetic matchup.

I think it's great just the way it is. The good teams have to play good week in and week out, or they go home. Simple as that.

that's possible. the top 8 teams could be divided into two different playoff conferences.

well maybe the good teams aren't really good if they cant beat the bad teams
