    to get a good idea of current market value... Try going to Gunbroker.com and see what a similar ppk sells for.

    If it is in fact Pre-war does it have a Crown "N" proof , or a letter prefix in front of the serial number?Does it have a bottom magazine release? These are all important questions that would help greatly to determine a value, due to the various Pre-war variations...

    Example..A pre-war PPK in 7.62 with a Crown "N' Proof mark and bottom magazine release is worth about $1,000.00 plus or minus,on todays market...
