Has anyone ever been shocked by their ipod earphones?
Recently, I noticed that when I turn the volume up on my ipod my ears feel a prickly feeling like little needles poking me in the ear. At first, I thought it was one of my long hairs from the top of my head but after I put my hair in a ponytail. The shocking continued. I even rubbed my fingers along the earphones to see if something was sticking out of it but nothing. It was all smooth.
So, I was wondering if anyone ever experienced this with their ipod earphones?

Sounds like you have a short in the wires for your earphones. It shouldn't cause too much of an issue due to the low voltage necessary in headphones, but the annoyance should be enough to move on to some other headphones.
Short may be caused by an incidental tugging or just a bad connection that was out of your control. They are rare, unless you are just abusive with your headphones.

No, i don't think of so. it truly is wintry climate, it truly is chilly, the humidity is down, static electrical energy builds up on your body extra certainly. The headphone basically takes position to be somewhat metallic close on your body, or perhaps as sufficient electrical energy builds up, it jumps out of your body to the headphone. It takes position to me each of the time. desire this facilitates!
