What are your criterias...?
Sola Scriptura…
A statement that is attacked by Catholics and LDS’s among others
Can you enlighten me in; What are the criteria’s by which you pick and chose from our holy Scripture, what is right and what is wrong
I am not interested in answers from unbelievers, but from believers in a religion that openly distances themselves from:
Sola Scriptura
Soli Deo Gloria
Thank you for your correction on my English, just thought it would be easier for you than Danish
Yes there are five solas
MaH: Try Rev 22:18-19.
Before you protest and state it is only for Rev. ponder upon this:
God is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent, He sees all time in one vivid look, time and places. God gave us the Scripture (2Tim 3:16), He knew the beginning and the end, there can be no surprises for Him concerning what the whole Bible says...are you still willing to add or subtract from His Word?
I would want to be pretty sure before I would start correct His Manuscript.

Tell, me....
Where in the Bible does it say that it is to be the ONLY guide to faith?
I accept ALL of the Scripture. There are parts which are allegory, parts which are parable, and parts which are literal. Even the hard parts, like "this is my Body," "you must take and eat." Or how about "hold fast to the traditions you have heard preached and in letters."
There is no part of the Scripture which is "wrong," only that which has been taken from its context and misused.
And I do believe that all glory is given to God. He has done great things for us, and for that I am grateful. He has bestowed His grace on us, and I accept it.

Amen! I too do not understand how one can believe any of the bible if they refuse to believe all of it. Logically, it makes no sense. How could they possibly know which words were right and which were wrong? Gods peace :)

'Criteria' is already plural. 'Criterion' is the singular.
Speaking of plurals, aren't there plural solas? (Solae?)
