when did the patriots go from their white helmets to the present silver ones?

I believe the answer would be approximately when Kraft took over- by the way for all those who believe women spy when they watch football she's not spying--

    No, it wasn't a product of the Kraft ownership. The team ditched the familiar "Pat the Patriot" logo and changed to the modern silver helmet with the flying blue Patriot head in time for the 1993 season. This was put forth by then-owner James B. Orthwein. The color was changed from bright royal blue to navy blue for the 2000 season.
