    "Greater love has no one than this; to lay down one's life for one's friend"

    But I think an even greater sacrifice would be to lay down one's life for an enermy.

    altruism is not a sacrifice but a selfish gesture.

    i feel that it would have to be a collaboration of sacrifices. not one single sacrifice would qualify as great through my eyes.
