well, I am a wife, 12 years...

Picture this. our first Valentine's Day together.

Candles, Soft music, and a card. That says, "I am so happy you were born because without you, I wouldn't be so happy on this day"

our 12th Valentine's day ( 3 children later) Flowers, candles, music and the same words in a card to me.

Our first overnight together he said, "you do not know how long I have been waiting for this night"

He still acts like that you know ( teary eyed as I write this)

His first love letter to me, which I still have, my favortie line.

"when I am alone at night, you comfort me very much. When I think of you a very strong warmth rushes though me. I love that feeling I never experienced it before you"

10 year anniversary he wrote this, "on this occasion, I would like to share some thoughts with you. Over the years we have grown, My love for you has grown as well. I have acheived what I never thought possible- happiness. It is in you that I have found it. I now know that the most valuable possession i have or could ever have is your heart. I want nothing more in this life than to love you and hold you. Words cannot possibly describe my feelings for you or what you mean to me, you know I will treasure you."

These words, memories are forever. I memorized every detail that means more to me that anything.

My wife loves fresh Dunginess Crab.

So I will have it flown in fresh from Seattle from a company I found when I was there on business.

I have clams and squid flown in too because me and my kids love them.

Then I will cook the crabs and clams for dinner and we make our own chocolate covered strawberries for desert.

It is fun and romantic (even with the kids), and the whole family has a great Valentines Day.

Then after we put the kids to bed we have a little more wine and some "Alone Time".

Every Wednesday night I give my wife a massage. first I draw her a bath with lavernder oil to fragrance the water and relax her. Music and candles set the mood. Then i lay towels out on the bedroom floor and when she is done in the bath 15 min.... i take her in and have her lay down for a full massage which take me 1 hour. i use lavernder oil and start with her laying back up and then finish with her face up. when im done i put her straiht to bed ... no sex.... its not about that. its all about relaxing her and making her feel special. now... thursday... i get the other thing i mentioned!...lol. but thats just one thing I do to bless her and make her feel good.

I have been married to my wife for 21 years. She was physically abused in her previous marriage & I have been a step-father & legal guardian to my Wife's severely handicapped son who is profoundly retarded, hydrochepallic, non-ambulatory & has CP.
