Just wondering???

According to some beliefs it all started with Adam and Eve. How come we have so many different races now? Asian, whites, mediterainian, blacks... All these races adaptd/evolved acording to their enviroment. So how, come evolution is not considered fact? How does Neanderthal fit into this picture?

Update:

Babel explains the different languages, not races.

It's not considered a fact in relgion because the churches are trying to disregard it because it's a complete contradiction to "adam and eve".

the bible was not intended to be taken literally, although some people do. i dont think the church really takes a strong stand on the beginning of time. i know that the authors of the bible couldnt expect people to believe half the stories in it. obviously jonah couldn't survive inside the belly of a whale for as long as they say he did. but nobody knows for sure. if we all came from monkeys, why did only some monkeys develop into humans and the rest stay monkeys? and where did monkeys come from?

The tower of Babel. And the reason evolution isn't considered is because God Created man in HIS image.

I suppose G-s would just have to create more humans after Adam and Eve. I think they are just used as a metaphor for all human kind, not just as two people.
