I want to buy my husband a motorcycle jack for Christmas but I don't know anything about them.?

We live in a very small town but there is a Sears about an hour from here, are the craftsman jacks any good? Is there a specific weight capacity that I should look for?

He has a Suzuki C50 Boulevard.

I need all the info I can get. Thank you!

    Sears has 2 jacks.

one is about 80$ the other is about double the price but lighter.

Go to the Sears web site and look at the reviews. The cheaper one seems to have a problem with the hydraulic jack and there is no way to fix it.

Get the more expensive jack and if your husband doesn't like it you can always return it.

I think they are rated for 1500 lbs, both can easily handle your husbands bike weight.

The cheap one is on sale for 60 bucks right now but I hate to see you waste money if it breaks and you end up with a large paper weight.

Many owners of the C50 use the Sears jack. I have a C50 and use the Harbor Freight jack - they are very similar. Try and buy the Sears when it is on sale (they frequently are).

I bought a Sears brand about 3 years ago and payed $85-$100 for it. My bike is a Yamaha Roadstar and weighs around 850 lbs. and handles it well. If I had to buy another one, I would buy the same one, money well spent..........

I've always liked just about everything craftsman makes. They are pretty strong and reliable and are covered by a lifetime warranty so even if it breaks years later you can still get a new one for free.

I've had a couple of them. The one from Sears is the best and safest I've used. The price is right too.
