Auto update install failure. Says the microsoft net1.1package could not be installed. Why would that be?

    I have the same problem with Trend Micro. To those who answered, how do you disable your antivirus? I've tried contacting them for weeks with no reply.

    Your anti virus program may be blocking it out.

    before you do updates disable your antivirus. it causes problem
