Why so many Americans are openly critical of their serving President and not thr past ones?

America is the most outstanding example of a first rate functional democracy in the entire comity of the nations, added by the an open society.Read Y/A or any forum where people are free to express their opinions or views and it's found that hardly any citizen from other countries are so much critical about their serving President or a prime minster, as Americans. There is nothing wrong in voicing opinions or criticism about political leaders in a democracy but the moot point is,why Americans are so vocal and open about it and not people from other democratic countries. Is there any tradition behind it or some other factors are at play? I have highest regards for America and it's citizen and no negative meaning be attached to the motive behind this question. It's a purely academic question and nothing more and nothing, what so ever less.

Update:

Once again, please be polite and to the point.Thanks.

Not sure why your question in "Other Society & Culture", I come here to get away from politico type questions for awhile, but since you asked. In my life it started something like this: Archie Bunker a neighbor down the street used to say "Nixon that SOB! Or Carter that SOB! And as young people we looked up to Archie, took what he said with a grain of salt, most of us that is. There's always a couple of people in the crowd that seriously think that Archie was getting his point across by calling people names. Those few who went on to live their life had friends and children or what ever, and expressed their Archie views to anyone who would listen and some of their vile stuck to a few more people. Now, some 40 or fifty years later the off spring of the garbage spewing idiots has grown to the size of a small cult where they think they are getting there point across by calling the president names, conjering up conspiracy and changing fact in the name of democracy while claiming to be the true American taking advantage of free speech...

The filth and vile and skewed information you hear about politico's these days is generally a form of arguing from a group of people that just don't get it and never will. Free speech and respect for the dignaty of those that attempt to operate or work with in our country with some semblence of civility towards man is not a admission of conformity, it's civilized and how most prefer to live. We can still say it's wrong or we don't agree with out saying: "He's an SOB"!

Those people are small minded and wonder in small groups, they don't represent the majority. Believe me.

Well if you are asking "should not a professional African American be competent to run for the workplace of President" of path the reply is sure, and with Obama we have already got the primary (part) Black Presidential nominee. However, if you're asking "will have to Obama be competent to end up President with ease for the reason that there has certainly not been a Black President ago", that is a really ignorant query and factor of view. In the workplace of the President (or any subject rather) COLOR, SEX, AGE & RACE SHOULD NOT MATTER. Yes it is unlucky there has certainly not been something rather than White Males as President, however the proper individual nonetheless needs to be the right option. Sorry to dissapoint, however Obama is NOT the right option. Remember too what that popular Republican as soon as stated "I have a dream that my 4 little kids will in the future are living in a country wherein they are going to now not be judged through the colour in their epidermis however through the content material in their man or woman." That entails now not electing any person notably for the reason that they're (part) Black. --------------------------- You ask "if a black guy is certified, my statement is why cannot he be president?" The reply is realistic: They CAN be. Nothing is preventing someone from doing something.

The moot point is? Why convey a point that is moot?

Added by an open society? Not sure what you mean.

People tend to be critical of any President, past, current or potential, that does not belong to their political party.

More than tradition, people tend to feel that the people who end up representing them in government don't actually... represent them. More than ever before, people understand the politicians tend to be rich, powerful, and influenced by corporations and special interests more than the wellbeing of our country.
