does anyone know what it means when you wake up to the smell of peppermint?
a friend of mine called me and said she woke up to smell of peppermint two mornings in a row. I need to know if there is a myth or wise tale about this.
the smell goes away within seconds.

I dont think there is a myth or wise tale about this..But I have looked it up on yahoo search and it said that waking up to that smell will make you more alert and wise for the day.

Could just be something in the room that your friend does not realize is in there. Or someone in her house has some insense or icy hot that they put on or use in the morning. No myth or wise tale here.

Well, peppermint is a stimulant, so it would make sense that the smell of it would perk someone up. In fact, peppermint often wakes me up better than the strongest coffee in the world.
