Packers’ fans, how did your defense played tonight?

Please no trash talk, let’s talk some football.

I though both teams had a good game, although the Packers defense wasn’t as good as usual, and I don’t think injures were the only reason. And the special team seem to give up a lot yards, many of Dallas positions were pretty good.

Clearly Dallas O Line dominated, I mean it looked like Romo had all day to throw. I didn’t see this one coming but I thought Harris got beaten few times, and couple of times he wasn’t aware where the ball was. Add the dumb penalties I really think the defense underperformed tonight.

Brett seemed to be having a bad game, he looked very careless with the ball. I think Rogers played very well and kept the game close, and the offense really clicked he start throwing short passes.

Credit giving to both teams, Dallas played good game though the defense looked a bit shaky on the run and the short passes.

Update:

** Good sports Jessie

*** I agree skrzych, I thought the palying calling in the 1st half was pretty strange, they kepet going for the big play in double coverage, I don't know how much of this was Brett or the coach.

We sucked a*s. It was no the same D team I've been seeing in the past 5 weeks. I was very disappointed but I must say, we stepped the game back up with Rodgers who had an excellent game. And Grant. But the defense just wasn't there in the beginning and it served us no justice in the end. But I will say this, I don't think Dallas is THAT much better then the packers from what ive seen tonight. Look at what the packers had. They brought in a 2nd string QB, tons of injuries and a sucky D, but they brought the game back to make it a 3 pt game.We got a HUGE INT and did nothing with it and that lead to the Boys getting a TD on the next drive. Packers only lost by 10 pts. I still think they are a team to beat in the NFC Championship game. And I do think they will be ready.

I agree with you on most of your points. Both teams did play well but in the end, the packers committed (at times very questionable) costly penalties. Take away the pass interference call at the end by the endzone, I truly believe we would have a much different outcome. To me, it is unacceptable that at this level of football, we have to watch a referee run all the way down the field to overturn a no-call by a referee that was standing not more than 3-4 yards away from the play. That is absurd.

Dallas came out on top on the scoreboard, but neither team played to their potential, not even Romo and certainly not TO who dropped a simple pass in the endzone. I think he was thinking about how he was going to celebrate by throwing more popcorn in his ugly face than catching the ball. I hate that guy. In my opinion, he is the farthest thing away from a role model and professional football player than anyone can be, along with Chad Johnson. He's an athlete but nothing close to "favreish". Favre is not only a player but a true sportsman. He likes to win and does in respectively.

Packers could have easily won that game and I have to give all the credit in the world to Rodgers who played outstanding given the pressure he was under. Good game, bad officiating and awful broadcasting. I give this game an A in excitement but an F in officiating. The NFL needs to consider making penalties of that nature reviewable, a big yard penalty that is that questionable should not determine the outcome of a professional football game of this nature, that is the bottom line.

I saw faults in GBs defense, offense, and ST's. They played like they were nervous. There's no time to be nervous. Favre played like it was the last 2 min. of the game and we were down by 6. Was it his fault though? I thought the play calling in the 1st half was RIDICULOUS!! I'm not taking ANYTHING away from Dallas. But GB has alot of work to do if they think they're going anywhere in the playoffs, that's for sure.

(maybe this was a good bubble burster though. Who knows?)

they played poorly without the 2 DT's, Charles Woodson, KGB, and Aaron Rouse. it was pretty bad.

Favre had a poor start, then got injured. rather unfortunate, but at least Rodgers brought his A game and gave us a sense of assurance for the future of GB.

Dallas won, so congrats to them.
