My wife and I want a baby, but don't have insurance?
Hi Everyone,
I'm currently an American Citizen living and working in South Korea. My wife is currently undergoing the visa paperwork to become an American Citizen. We are returning to America in March 2013. At the moment, we have no American health care coverage. We want to start trying to have a baby in October of 2012 (giving birth in July 2013). However, we won't have any medical insurance.
Should we start trying to get American Health Care even though we live outside of the US borders? What options do we have for coverage if we wait until we get to America? Please advise....
Thank you!
4 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting9 years agoWhy won't my Mozilla Foxfire open any of my Yahoo Emails?
I switched from the Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox because the IE kept aborting from several sites, mostly blogs. Firefox has not done that yet, which is great. However, I can't access my Yahoo Emails with Firefox. Why is that? I can go in and see if I have any new emails, but every time I click on an email, the email is blank and I have to open up the IE just to read my emails. How can I read my emails using Mozilla Firefox?
1 AnswerOther - Computers1 decade agoMy fiance is a Filipina- Need help!?
I'm in a complicated situation. I'm an American working in South Korea with an E2 Visa. I will be marrying my fiance in The Philipinnes in October. At that point, we both want to return to Korea. The problem is, we have to wait 60 days for our marriage certificate.
How can my spouse come to Korea with me after our wedding and look for a job here?
Also, do I have to wait 60 days for my Marriage Certificate before I can begin the Visa paperwork for her to come to America as my spouse? She'll be looking to get her American Spouse Visa (K-1 Visa) while living with me in Korea.
2 AnswersImmigration1 decade agoWould you agree the NFC North is the best division in the NFL?
Over the past 5 years, 5 of the 10 representatives in the NFC Championship Game will have come from the NFC North. That is half, and much better than the NFC East (2), NFC South (2) and NFC West (1).
2010- Packers, Bears
2009- Vikings
2007- Packers
2006- Bears
How about this for a statistic. Here are the records the NFC North holds against the other NFC Divisions in the 2010 Regular Season:
NFC South: 2-2
NFC East: 9-7
NFC West: 3-1
With the playoffs, you can add to that:
NFC South: 3-2
NFC East: 10-7
NFC West: 4-1
So clearly the NFC North outplayed the rest of the league. Next year, the Vikings will likely remain as the cellar dwellers, but the Lions appear ready to compete for the division crown. They need a LB and CB and will probably be competing with the Packers for the division crown along with some competition from the Bears in 2011. What are your thoughts on this with the stats clearly being in favor of the NFC North?
15 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoHow can I bring my Filipina fiancee back to America?
I'm in a somewhat complicated situation. I recently proposed to my now fiancee, who is a Filipina Citizen. I'm an American obviously. However, I am currently living and working in South Korea under an E2 Visa. So I won't be returning to America anytime before the date in which we hope to wed. It's to my understanding that in order to petition for a K-1 Fiancee Visa, the American citizen must petition for it on American soil. That is not possible.
My plan is to have her come home to America with me for a month, then she'll come with me to South Korea as i resume work here. I do however intend on making her an American Citizen which will take up to 3 years.
How should I go about in taking the necessary steps to make her an American Citizen and ensure that she can come to America with me once my contract of employment is up here in South Korea in October of 2011? What Visa should she target? Would it be more wise to get married in The Philippines or in America in this case? We just want to make sure she can come home with me so she can meet my friends and family in America.

4 AnswersOther - Internet1 decade agoWhat are some tourist attractions near the Houston Airport?
I have a 7 hour layover. I figure it will take me 30 minutes to leave the airport and 2 hours to get back through security and all that. That leaves me with 4 hours and 30 minutes to do something near the airport. I was wondering if you have any suggestions in what I can see or do that is near the airport as I have so much time to kill. I will be there on August 25th and it will be during the day.
4 AnswersHouston1 decade agoWhat teams are contending for Prince Fielder and Corey Hart?
Prince Fielder- big time HR hitter. 1st Baseman. Contract year, will be getting a monster deal after this year. Brewers are a small market, they can't afford him.
Corey Hart- RF. Will be appearing in his 2nd All Star Game in 3 years. He's hot right now. His trade value is up there at the moment.
With that said, which teams will make a move for Fielder? Which teams will make a move for Hart? What/Who will the Brewers get out of them?
4 AnswersBaseball1 decade agoFor those that play the 3-4 Defense in football games such as Madden (more recent games)?
I'm just curious, do you prefer to use traditional 4-3 DE's as your 3-4 DE's or do you use lighter and quicker DT's that are typically bigger and stronger DE's?
What I mean is this: When you look at Free Agents, you will see a lot of guys listed as DE's. They are at that position depending upon what they played before. It doesn't classify them by 3-4 DE or 4-3 DE. For example, in Madden 09', Corey Williams is listed as a DE. However, if he plays on a 4-3 defense such as this upcoming year, he will be listed as a DT. Typically, the undersized DT's play the 3-4 DE role the best because they are strong enough to hold their own.
Considering this is a video game though, opinions can change. Anything is possible. So I'm just curious if any of you that use the 3-4 defense adjust the player's roles. I just want to see what other gamers do with that scheme compared to myself.
What I do is this (Madden 09 Version): I have 4 DT's, with one being Sedric Ellis and is strong enough to be the NT. The other DT's play as my DE's. For my actual DE's, the only good one I have is Derrick Harvey if he counts, and he only plays on obvious passing downs (Nickel and Dime Package). The rest of my DE's are the cheapest on the market and never play. They are just there so i can meet the roster breakdown requirement. So, I'm just wondering what you do and just comparing. Yes, what i do works very well by the way.
***Yes, I am asking this in the football section because this is a really long and boring offseason! haha. need to change it up i guess.***

1 AnswerAir Travel1 decade agoWhy is the Big 12 falling apart?
I really don't know why it may not be around in a couple years. What is going on? I knew the Big 10 was looking to add 1 team, now we are talking about multiple teams. I was hoping that 1 team would be Missouri, Iowa State, or Notre Dame to keep it a Mid West oriented conference. Nebraska is close, but i consider it more Western. I'd welcome Nebraska though. But, why is the Big 12 disintegrating?

1 AnswerFootball (American)1 decade agoWhat is the wingspan of Joe Thomas and Jake Long's arms?
What I mean by that is, how long are their arms?
I heard that Joe Thomas had small arms, thus being one of the very few flaws against him. I heard Long has short arms too, so now I'm curious so I can compare them to this years OT's drafted in the first 2 rounds.

15 AnswersWrestling1 decade agoWho will be the Bears DE to compliment Julius Peppers this season?
Peppers has the versatility to play LE and RE. Peppers played his last 2 seasons as a RE, but prefers being a LE. Regardless of where he plays, Chicago will have a big hole at the other DE position.
Last year, the LE was Adewale Ogunleye. He is currently a free agent.
Last year, the RE was Alex Brown. Chicago is looking to trade him or inevitably cut him.
Last year, DE Gaines Adams unfortunately died at way too young of an age.
The only player I can think of to compliment Peppers is DT/DE Jarron Gilbert, but he got very little playing time last season.
What do the Bears plan to do to address that need?
5 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWho do you think St. Louis and Detroit will draft with the top 2 picks?
After Day 1 of Free Agency, Detroit may have just shaken up most Mock Drafts. Regardless of who St. Louis drafts, I highly doubt Detroit drafts a DT. The reason is it wouldn't make any sense. Detroit just added DE Kyle Vanden Bosch and DT Corey Williams. Williams, a once promising star in Green Bay faded when he switched to the 3-4 scheme in Cleveland. When he was in Green Bay, he shined as a 3 technique DT. He's not the best, but he's good. Both Suh and Gerald McCoy are also 3 technique DT's as well, so that makes very little sense to start two 3 technique DT's. Therefore, I see Detroit drafting either LT Russell Okung or S Eric Berry.
That leaves us with St. Louis, does St. Louis go with a promising DT or take a risk with a franchise QB? One thing for certain is St. Louis can draft both positions in Round 1 and 2. One scenario is they can draft Ndamakong Suh, then draft QB Tony Pike in the 2nd Round. They may even resign Marc Bulger to let Pike learn the system for a year or two. Another scenario is they draft QB Sam Bradford first, then draft someone like DT Dan Williams in the 2nd Round.
With that said, what is your guess in who they draft?
My Projection:
St. Louis- DT Ndamakong Suh
Detroit- OT Russell Okung
5 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWho would you draft if your team had the #1 Overall Pick in the draft: Nmandakong Suh or Gerald McCoy?
Obviously, if your team runs a 3-4 defense, your opinion may be different from those that run a 4-3 defense. Suh is most compared to DE/DT Richard Seymour. Gerald McCoy is most compared to DT Kevin Williams. Who would you rather have on your team, and why?
Answer with the best reason gets "Best Answer."
6 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoA question about Browns OLB Kamerion Wimbley?
For those who don't know who he is, Wimbley is the OLB for the Cleveland Browns. He was drafted 13th Overall in the 2006 NFL Draft. He weighed in at the combine at 248 lbs, standing 6'3. Most scouts projected him as the best 3-4 OLB prospect in that draft.
Wimbley had an excellent rookie season recording 11 sacks. However, he had only 5 in 2007, 4 in 2008, and 6.5 in 2009.
Why did Wimbley's stats decline following his rookie season? Is he battling injuries? What is preventing him from being a solid 3-4 OLB?
