A question about Browns OLB Kamerion Wimbley?

For those who don't know who he is, Wimbley is the OLB for the Cleveland Browns. He was drafted 13th Overall in the 2006 NFL Draft. He weighed in at the combine at 248 lbs, standing 6'3. Most scouts projected him as the best 3-4 OLB prospect in that draft.

Wimbley had an excellent rookie season recording 11 sacks. However, he had only 5 in 2007, 4 in 2008, and 6.5 in 2009.

Why did Wimbley's stats decline following his rookie season? Is he battling injuries? What is preventing him from being a solid 3-4 OLB?

When your team is always behind teams run to on you more to run the clock out. Also being the only decent player on that D teams will key on him and double team him on pass plays thus cutting down on his chances for sacks

Might have to do with the Browns not being very good. Bad teams usually get run on a lot more than good teams, thus decreasing his sack opportunities. Sometimes it isn't the player it's the team.

The Browns lost alot of their starting MLB's which makes it harder to pass rush because they can double up on you.

The offenses were keying on him on passing plays.
