Who do you think St. Louis and Detroit will draft with the top 2 picks?

After Day 1 of Free Agency, Detroit may have just shaken up most Mock Drafts. Regardless of who St. Louis drafts, I highly doubt Detroit drafts a DT. The reason is it wouldn't make any sense. Detroit just added DE Kyle Vanden Bosch and DT Corey Williams. Williams, a once promising star in Green Bay faded when he switched to the 3-4 scheme in Cleveland. When he was in Green Bay, he shined as a 3 technique DT. He's not the best, but he's good. Both Suh and Gerald McCoy are also 3 technique DT's as well, so that makes very little sense to start two 3 technique DT's. Therefore, I see Detroit drafting either LT Russell Okung or S Eric Berry.

That leaves us with St. Louis, does St. Louis go with a promising DT or take a risk with a franchise QB? One thing for certain is St. Louis can draft both positions in Round 1 and 2. One scenario is they can draft Ndamakong Suh, then draft QB Tony Pike in the 2nd Round. They may even resign Marc Bulger to let Pike learn the system for a year or two. Another scenario is they draft QB Sam Bradford first, then draft someone like DT Dan Williams in the 2nd Round.

With that said, what is your guess in who they draft?

My Projection:

St. Louis- DT Ndamakong Suh

Detroit- OT Russell Okung

as it stands right now the rams will go DT, but this may all change depending on how Sam Bradford does at his pro day.

if they do go DT i think they go Gerald McCoy as he is a better fit for the type of defense the rams will b running

I don't c anyway the Lions pass on Suh at number 2 especially with ppl calling him "the next reggie white" the potential there is jus too great to pass up

St. Louis: Sam Bradford, QB Oklahoma

Detroit: Russell Okung, OT Oklahoma State

St. Louis is in dire need of a franchise QB. We can help out our D in Round 2.

Detroit will not go D since they just got Vanden Bosch and Williams. They will draft help for their franchise face, Matt Stafford.

in the event that they the two lose out something of the season then Detroit could have the 1st p.c.. in keeping with capability of time table. which skill they'll screw up Brady Quinn (that is assuming Millen doesnt draft yet another huge receiver) and Oakland will p.c.. Brian Brohm(if he proclaims he would be larger rated than Smith). Too undesirable there arent any good GM's eligible to be the 1st p.c.. interior the draft....as undesirable because of the fact the Lions are on the sphere they're worse off it. thank you Mr. Ford for all you havent executed interior the previous 40 years, remember as stupid as Matt Millen is he to date has outsmarted Ford (hows that for an endorsement of Fords intelligence?)
