I have a bottle of homemade cane syrup, what can I use it for?

One of my husband's customers gave him this huge bottle of homemade cane syrup. I have no idea what it's used for. Any suggestions? Any recipes?

Also, am I supposed to keep it refrigerated?

Any information will be appreciated.

How wonderful! Consider it liquid sugar. it is much better than corn syrup, and can be used on pancakes, or to make pecan pies, and even in place of granulated and brown sugar. (just use a little bit less and cut back on the other "liquids"). it is also great in coffee, tea or what-have-you.

yum - use it in mixed drinks in place of simple syrup (sugar & water) for a slightly different flavor!

after you open it, you should probably refrigerate it, or at least leave it a cool place.

It does not need to be refrigerated. I like it on pancakes, buiscuits, toast, waffles, etc. It doesn't taste like maple syrup, but it is sweet and delicious.

    pecan pie

    waffles

    pancakes

    cookies (sugar)

    top icecream with it

home made candy and candy canes

    brownies

no refridgeration required, but its optional whatever temperature you and your family prefer it at.
