ok, so, like, im going to bed in 1/2 an hr...how can i get a good night sleep 4once?

ok, i have a swim meat tomorow at 1pm, and i'd like to be well rested for once.

how can i be sure i fall asleep, and actualy get good sleep? and stay asleep.

btw, i read for about an hr b4 i go2bed...so i'll be reading till 10pm(its 830pm now)

    Ohno, I geusse i'm to late!

    I hope you get a good nights sleep tonight, but in the future mabye you could try using a fan if you don't already, that alaways helps me fall asleep pretty quick! Also, since you say you'll go from really hot to cold quickly, mabye a fan, with a bit more sheets, might help to equalize it a bit, like a climate control!

    Also (if you dont alrady of course! : ) you could try playing soft music, if i do that it usually takes me longer to fall asleep, but when i finally do i almost never wake up during the night, everyones diffirent, but you should try it! Have fun at your meet tomorrow!

    I have problems with noise waking me up, so I turn a fan on low and the constant sound from it blocks out mostly everything else. Taking a nice warm bath and relaxing in the tub for 10 minutes or so helps as well.

    Before you sleep make sure that you are comfortable, and warm. Clear your mind of all troubling thoughts that could keep you from resting, and then just sort of fall into sleep.

    Oh, and don't eat or drink anything that would affect your body. Like soda, or candy. The caffine and sugar might keep you from resting.

    I'm a psychiatric nurse and ... this is going to sound crazy ... warm milk is often used at the hospital and works as well or BETTER than medication.

    warm milk does work......avoid caffiene alcholol cigarettes any meal that is heavy on you stomach.....not reading in bed making bed just for sleep no tv in bed but all of this has to be practised and isnt going to happen overnight

    go strolling for half an hour, it'll get u tired and help u sleep better.
