We go out on Christmas Eve looking at lights. Then we watch Christmas movies. Everyone goes to bed at a decent hour and usually at an obscene hour (but not before 5am) my husband wakes the house up yelling "It's Christmas". When our daughter was little we volunteered delivering meals to shut ins. On New Years Eve we always start the new year holding hands in a circle and praying for peace, guidance etc. and thanking God for our relationships. We use take turns being the recepient of a big gift on New Years Eve...it would be in our room when we woke up on New Years Day. That way we could take advantage of the after Christmas sales. One year my husband got golf shoes, and then another year my daughter got tickets to see the theater production of "Annie". The tradition died out when it was my turn to get something LOL figures, I am Mrs. CLaus!

Sorry, I won't be having a Christmas this year. My debt collectors won't let me but, I hope they have a joyful holiday, anyway. Seasons Greetings to all.
