Trivia - 5 questions?
You people are good! Single questions are too easy for you. Here's a 5-part trivia question (all are MLB - not minor leagues):
1) Last player to steal 2nd, 3rd and home in same inning? Name player and date.
2) Who holds record for consecutive scoreless innings pitched from the start of a season? Name player, year and total innings.
3) Last switch hitter to be named American League MVP? Name player and year.
4) What pitcher holds record for most consecutive complete games? Name pitcher and total.
5) According to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, what was the first Baseball movie? Give title of movie and year.
Good luck!!!
Points for the first to answer all five correctly.
Not quite, Yankee Fan. #1 is wrong (it's been done 7 times since Carew). #2 - Orel holds record, but not from start of season. #3 is correct. #4 - right guy, wrong total (it's between 100-200). #5 is not what the NBOH lists, but yours is older, so we'll count it.
Oops, for #5 I meant NBHOF, not NBOH.

3. Vida Blue, 1971. (Yes, I knew this.)
4. later, if -- I recall Bobby Witt had a streak of 11 or 12, but I don't think that's the record. Update: Witt's streak reached nine, in 1988, the most recent streak to reach that far. Record? Jack Taylor in 1904. Much bigger number.
