I lost my Krups Optisteam manual- how do you cook rice?
this model has the front water container- I have not used it in a while and can't remember how- do you put water and raw rice in the container or just rice nad then put water in the front? Help- my pork chops will be done in about 4 minutes!!!

Hi Stir fried rice is NOT fried cooked rice! It is raw rice frayed in a wok keep stirring until the the rice starts to brown! Then add pre-fried, veg And add to a preheated, oven-dish and add boiling stock or water! Two cups of stock to 1 cup of rice, Cover (with tinfoil or a lid) and put in a preheated oven (about gas mark 7) should take about 20 mins check it, it will come out as individual grains or perfectly cooked rice with no stock left, If you put rice in the oven that is cooked! Cover it and just heat it! If you do not cover it, it will dry out!

4 cups of water, 1 cup of rice
boil water
add rice
add some salt, or olive oil
stir rice
cover pan, reduce heat to low
17 mins later you have cooked rice
best to quickly stir rice and recover half way through
add a bouillon cube for flavor
