Myspace "Extended network"?

My stepdaughter has a MySpace account that is monitored by her mother. Her dad occasionally searches her name just to see what picture she has by her name (she changes it often) but we don't have a myspace account. When he looked at it today it said she was "in your extended network" - what does that mean if we don't have myspace accounts?

i means quite literally that you have the same friends. for most people this is tom.

It also doesnt mean much. you can change what it says.

it is a default setting. dont worry about it, everyone has it.

the website can sometimes detect what your zip code is or something and see it is in a certain radius of other people's accounts regardless of if you have an account or not. extended network means you are in that radius of how ever many miles it is.
