Can I wear a sweater vest with a suit to an interview?

I'm a guy in college, I have an interview with a marketing firm. I have a nice pinstripe suit but i want to wear a sweater vest with it, does that work?

    as long as the vest is the same colors of your suit, if not either wear the suit or the suit pants and the vest buttoned up. Good luck in your interview. I used to hire and interview people, remember sit back in your seat not on the edge. annmarie
