Anyone with a Mirena IUD??
I've had a Mirena IUD since early this year. I haven't bled at all since April (about 8 months). Yesterday and today, I've been experiencing abdominal pain and cramping, and (maybe TMI) diarrhea. Now all of a sudden this afternoon, I'm bleeding like a regular period. Is this a normal side effect, even after so long of not bleeding? Or should I see a doctor?

I used to have a Mirena. It can make your periods irregular, even almost a year after it was inserted.
If you start having periods more than once a month, though, go see the doctor. That happened to me, and it turned out to be a symptom of an infection caused by the IUD.

i've got had the Mirena for a 12 months without ingredient effects. observed for awhile yet have not had a era in any respect. not something such as you're dealing with with thoughts, zits and so on, hate to pay attention that. I considered the copper iud in the previous because of the fact I enjoyed the belief of no hormones. My Dr. instructed me that it does make the classes heavier and the cramps greater intense. you in basic terms could weigh the experts and cons of each approach you're thinking & understand that our bodies all react to different techniques in different strategies so possibly it somewhat is nicely worth a attempt. in basic terms talk on your ob/gyn and notice if she/he provides a time-physique, say 3 greater months and if no replace, then attempt the copper.
