  • What kind of perfume should I buy?

I want to try something new. My tastes run more toward the fruity and sweet, rather than floral or musky. My current favorites are Britney Spears "Fantasy" and Christina Aguilera "Inspire." Any other suggestions?

  • Air Force equivalent of MCCS/MWR?

For the Navy, it's called MWR (Morale, Welfare & Recreation). The Marine Corps calls it MCCS (Marine Corps Community Services). What is the USAF equivalent? Thanks!

  • What's wrong with my TV??

The screen is black except for a very thin strip horizontally across the center. I can hear the show but there's no picture. I must be an addict because I am feeling quite panicked right now, lol.

  • How can I keep my kids occupied on the airplane??

I'm traveling cross-country on an airplane without my husband to help with my 3 kids (ages 4, 5, and 6). Do you have any ideas of how I can keep them occupied on the airplane? If I bring their "learning laptops" or Leapsters, will they be able to play with them without driving everyone else batty? Electronic devices are probably my best bet for keeping them quiet, but those make noise themselves and don't have headphones. I want to be sensitive to the other travelers, but also to my children at the same time. Any tips?

  • Unequally yoked?

During the sermon yesterday, the pastor at my church said "A Christian should not marry a non-Christian. It is not a sin, but it IS evil. Nothing good can come of it." I know all about the challenges of being married to an unbeliever, and am aware of the scripture references. But I was incredibly offended by this comment. Even though it was to the entire congregation, and not directed at me specifically, I feel attacked by it, and even worse, I feel like my children's worth is attacked by it.

What do you think of the comment? How do you think I should handle it? I am disgusted and dumbfounded by him right now.

  • What printer should I buy??

My old printer (Lexmark X5150) is dead and I need a new one. Does anyone have any recommendations? I primarily use my printer for standard black & white text printing, however I do occasionally use color. I need it to be able to scan (fairly well). I would prefer to have a fax and/or copy function, but it's not necessary. I have a dedicated photo printer, which I hardly even use, so the ability to print photos is not at all necessary.

    Any suggestions??

  • What would be a reasonable salary for...?

What would be a reasonable salary range for an Information Security Technologist at a large, public banking agency? The employee in question has over 11 years of experience as an analyst and technologist. I know that whatever answers I get will be very "round about" because there are a lot of factors involved, but I would appreciate any estimates. Thanks!

  • Anyone with a Mirena IUD??

I've had a Mirena IUD since early this year. I haven't bled at all since April (about 8 months). Yesterday and today, I've been experiencing abdominal pain and cramping, and (maybe TMI) diarrhea. Now all of a sudden this afternoon, I'm bleeding like a regular period. Is this a normal side effect, even after so long of not bleeding? Or should I see a doctor?

  • Is this an unrealistic expectation?

I have chronic back pain and it hurts me pretty bad to give my kids (currently ages 3, 4, and 5) a bath. I'm a stay at home mom right now. Even though my husband works long hours, I still expect him to bathe the kids instead of me most of the time because of how it affects me. Is this unrealistic?

My son's skin in between his nostrils and his upper lip is so raw and sore from rubbing so much. He's had a terrible runny nose for several days and it's impossible to get him to not rub (he's 3!!). Is there anything I can do to alleviate the rawness???

  • Shouldn't we all be agnostics?

Shouldn't we all be agnostics? Nobody in today's world can be absolutely 100% certain. I believe strongly in my faith, but it's just that - faith. If there is not undisputable, unquestionable certain proof - wouldn't that make us all agnostics?

PS - I am a Christian, and am very involved in my church. This is just some "wild thinking." :-)

  • How to remove an earring??

My 4 year old daughter had her ears pierced as a baby and we never changed her earrings. One of her earrings is missing, so I bought her a new pair to wear. The problem is I can't get her other earring off!!!! She screams when I try to pull it off. Why won't this earring come off?!? I'm going to have to put the new one in her other ear so her hole doesn't close up, but I have to get that one off. HELP!!!
