Office is collecting snacks & soap etc. for our troops in the Middle East. Is there a better way?
Does it make a lot of sense to ship pudding and toilet paper halfway around the world? Might there be a better way to get these "extras" to the troops?

Drop them off at your local homeless shelter. 24% of all homeless persons are veterans.

If anyone has a friend who owns a jet, even a small Leer, that would be faster, if not easier. Main thing I would do is collect money instead and take it to a local club store where you'll get more for the money. And I don't think they need toilet paper. But toiletries are another thing. I always put those packs of premoistened wipes and baby powder. Snack are good , too, though!

Yes. Bring them home so they're closer to a Wal-Mart or 7-11.
