A teddy bear called Mohammed?

Why, when a British citizen was arrested by a pack of religious zealots, did the British government show itself to be weak and spineless in the face of such provication. The British government shouldnt have asked for Gillian Gibbons to be released, they should have demanded it under the threat of withholding the finanacial aid we give these idiots.

All for a teddy bear called Mohammed.

I was always taught that respect has to be earned. In Muslim countries it seems , respect is enforced by imprisonment and flogging.

i offered a Teddy bear for £10, named it Muhammed, bought it for £20, became that a prophet? no longer my humorous tale, somebody else asked that question at right here. heavily Sudan has gotten itself a undesirable attractiveness for this act, and admittedly a number of it is people called for her loss of life, does not prepare Muslims to be undesirable people, because of the fact neither the government or those everybody is real Muslims, the Koran is a non violent e book.

Every country has its quirks and it's laws. Regardless of how fooolish one may think they are, one has to be willing to tip toe around them. Otherwise, best to stay home. Would save the rest of us a lot of aggravation.

Earlier this year, a man was sentenced to 10 years in jail in Thailand for 'insulting' the the King of Thailand. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/6505237.st...
