Can someone tell me the name of this book about a unicorn and girl?
I read this book when I was in the 7th grade, got it from the library in 95' and I can't rememeber the name of it. It was about a girl, in her tweens or teens... and her mother or step-mother was really bad, so she decided to run away, somehow meets up with a unicorn who tells her she has powers too. He tries to hide her and becomes friends with her. he gets hurt so they go to the moon where the unicorn eggs are nesting and he rolls in the sand there and it heals him.. I don't really remember a whole lot. I'd love to find out the title of this book.

I think you might be getting two books mixed up - "Into the Land of Unicorns" by Bruce Coville (features a young girl who finds a world full of unicorns and has adventures there) and "A Swiftly Tilting Planet" by Madeleine L'Engle (features a boy and a unicorn who go to the unicorn's planet after a dangerous encounter to heal their wounds in the snow).
