  • Are there rental specialists in Chattanooga Tennessee?

My husband and I are moving to Chattanooga, TN. from Florida but can not make trips up to look at properties and we need a specialist to look for a good rental home for us. I am disabled and can not drive or work. My husband is a hard working man and can not take time off to drive up there, either. He is transferring his job to up there so he'll still be employed. I am in a wheelchair, so my ramp will only get me up a maximum of 3 steps. We have 3 small (under 15 pounds) dogs. I need to be able to get into a bathroom door entrance with my chair, and the house needs to have most of the living space on one floor. We need a house with a back yard, or a condo with a fenced in patio of some sort, so the dogs can go outside. We need at least a 2 bedroom one bath with a kitchen that has good counter space, more than 3 drawers, and good cabinet space. Oh, and I've seen pictures of a place there that was just painted awful colors. So one that doesn't have ugly carpet and isn't painted with really ugly colors. Our budget is $850 a month or lower.

  • Can I be arrested for moving back into my home?

My home is in the foreclosure process, and it has been that way for a few years now.. almost 3 years. In that time we were trying to get a short sale to go through so another company could buy our home and rent it out. But that didn't go through and nothing ever happened. Now, Bank of America bought my mortgage and we still haven't gotten any sort of sale date. I moved out with my husband for a short amount of time to live with my mom so she can help take care of me, as I've become disabled. We want to move back into the house so we can save up to move into our own place, with out the stress of living with other people and a sale date hanging over our head, and to file bankruptcy.. could we get arrested for moving back in? We left a lot of our things there and we've kept the lawn mowed and all that. I know I look like a bad person, but I'm not. I'm just really really unlucky. Disabled into a wheelchair, back so bad I get moments of being paralized and so forth, and no money for the doctors to prove my disability.

  • Relocating to Tennessee. Chattanooga vs. Knoxville. Help?

I need people to give their honest and full opinion on why I should move to either Chattanooga or Knoxville. I need a sort of pros and cons answer. Like, what is bad and good about both city.

Just reading the cities relocation mags aren't helpful. I need the citizen's point of view. Every town has its good and bad points. Can you tell me which city is better and why?

  • Should I move to Chattanooga or Knoxville? And why is the one better than the other?

I'm moving to Tennessee in about 5 to 6 months and I want to know what the locals who live there think of the two different cities. I've been through there before but haven't had time to really get to know the places as an adult. So, Tennessee, where should my husband and I move to? And can you please list the things to do there, as we are still in our late 20s and like to have fun.

  • What is or are the bad areas of Chattanooga to live in?

I am moving to the area and I was wondering if someone who knows could give me a heads up on where I shouldn't look. There are so many nice places I've read about, but I want to make sure that if I find an affordable place, its not because its a bad area of town.

  • Need surgery to walk again, but no health insurance. What can I do? I live in Florida.?

I live in a city that is #4 in the highest unemployment rate and I can't get the money together to move to a better place. I have severe gout, and the uric acid from it ate away my ankle bone before I even knew what had happened. I thought it was a weak ankle and I kept wrenching it or something. I had health insurance, but it wouldn't pay for the physical therapy I need, and would need after a surgery to replace the missing bone in my ankle. The doctors are afraid to mess with me with out physical therapy set up. Being in a wheel chair has messed up my back even worse than it was before I was diagnosed with severe gout. I'm 28 years old. I have PCOS, a very bad syndrome that causes all sorts of issues that really effect my life. I had to drop my health insurance so I can keep my car insurance and my husband can go to work. So now, I can't even see my doctor at all anymore. Not even a GYN. My body is getting worse because of the wheel chair. I swim in a friend's pool for some sort of a work out, but mainly I'm in a wheel chair and at times my back (I think its a herniated disc) will suddenly give me horrible pain and I lose all strength and control of my body below my waist. I pray for God to help me. I don't have the money to prove I am disabled so I can get disability.

  • Help?! How can I raise enough money to move from Florida to Tennessee?

I live Port Saint Lucie, FL and we're up in the high percentage of unemployment rates. I am currently disabled with no way to pay for a doctor to prove that I am disabled so i can get on disability. My husband works grave yard shift 4 days a week at a gas station, and he got this job mainly because he has a friend that manages one of the area stores. When I say its bad here, I'm not kidding. My step-dad has a college education and he is delivering pizza for a living and he is 64 years old with lots of experience with building. Anyway, my husband and I are currently living with my parents and are selling a lot of big stuff so we'll have less to move, but how can I raise enough money to move to Tennessee? Which is where we want to go. Help?!

  • The last few weeks dime sized pink blotches have started to appear on my neck. Anyone know what it is?

The pink/ light red blotches do not itch and they are smooth and not raised above the skin. I'm taking Uloric for Uric Acid control from gout, and Trilipix for high triglycerides. I have PCOS, which is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.

  • Can someone tell me the name of this book? Its about a young woman and a unicorn.?

The first time I asked, it was the wrong answer. I read this book when I was in the 7th grade, got it from the library in 95' and I can't rememeber the name of it. It was about a girl, in her tweens or teens... and her mother or step-mother was really bad, so she decided to run away, somehow meets up with a unicorn who tells her she has powers too. He tries to hide her and becomes friends with her. he gets hurt so they go to the moon where the unicorn eggs are nesting and he rolls in the sand there and it heals him.. I don't really remember a whole lot. I'd love to find out the title of this book.

PS. It is NOT Into the Land of Unicorns" by Bruce Coville , or "A Swiftly Tilting Planet" by Madeleine L'Engle

  • Why is religion important? Why not faith? Why can't we just believe in God and Jesus?

Why can't we just say, my faith is in God and his Son, instead of being Catholic, baptist, prodostant, presbiterian?.. I don't even know if I spelled all those correctly. Can any one give a me a good, real answer for this? No sarcasm please.

  • Have you ever had a miracle happen in your life?

Something that God, or his angels would have done? Or that you were strapped for money to pay for food just for you family or a home for them and then suddenly, just exsactly the amount you need shows up or is given to you.. or you were able to make but it normally wouldn't happen that way... Or even just being in a car wreck or in a position where no one would help you, but then that one person shows up out of no where, to give you a hand..?

  • This message is for George. A Homeless Man Who Needs Prayer.?

    George,

I asked God to send his gaurdian angels down to earth, I know he

sends them to walk among us from time to time. I asked him to send them

to you, thet they may seem like strangers but you'll just take their

hand if they give it for you to take. Hand hand up. An hand to help you

get the clothing you need to work, the nurishment for your body and the

roof over your head you need. That you don't have to worry where you are

going to sleep, or where the next bite of food may come from. I speak

to God as if he is my friend, not just my Father in heaven, because he

is. I know, in my heart, that he can do anything and everything. So I

asked him to do anything and everything for you. So you watch for that.

It may not be immediate, but if many pray for you, it will happen. I'm

going to ask my family to pray for you, too. So that you have many,

speaking on your behalf. Because, it seems like you've had no one to do

that for you, for so long. We'll pray for you, George. Don't EVER

give up.. ever. God is here, even though you may not see him, and its

too hard to hear him speak to you, he is there with you. Sending a BIG

    BEAR HUG.
