Very unlikely that he would be charged criminally, some psychiatric care but doubtful that he would be charged with any type of sex crime.}{

Yes. Anyone over the age of 8 can be charged with a crime. They would serve their sentence in a juvenile correctional facility until the age of 21.
A 6 year old is deemed incompetent to make decisions there for cannot consent to sexual activity.
