Mad Axe electric guitar?
My friend, who just recently got interested in electric guitars, asked my opinion on a second hand Mad Axe electric guitar that someone is selling her. I know virtually nothing about electric guitars so I surfed the net but couldn't find anything on Mad Axe guitars. On Mad Axeman, yes, a lot of info.
Please help me. Can anyone please tell me about Mad Axe guitars and how much should a second-hand one cost?
Thank you.

Take it to a quality local music store- NOT GUITAR CENTER (nothing against them but they never have good repair people) Have a tech look at it. Even high end guitars can have fret problems, warped necks, broken truss rods etc. Even if they charge $20 for a bench test it's worth it. I have never heard of this brand. Does it say made in china? If so $200 is probably too much. Indonesia or India or Mexico are better and made in USA it's a steal (if the neck etc. are ok)
p.s. Judging by the fuzzy picture from above I say China. $200 may be too much.........more like $60. but its hard to say.

I've never heard of these guitars before. If its a custom build by some dood outta his house it could be either hit or miss. The only thing I was able to find was this:

200 $ isn't bad price :) but that depends on alot of things

I've never heard of it either, but I would just recommend playing it on the amp it will be used with. If it sounds good, is reasonably priced, and your friend likes the way it plays go for it. As long as it works for you, it doesn't matter what kind it is.
It could always be a good starter guitar. :)

A whammy bar is not necessary. A screw extractor would be needed to remove the screw or easyout.
