    Ron Paul.

The Republican party has some clean-up work to do after the last 8 years of ????. Even though Paul doesn't match up perfectly with all the views of the party, that's exactly why he should be the nominee. He's the only Republican candidate I could see giving the Democrats a run in the 08 election. He tells it like it is, too.

I'm a Republican but if you give me the choice between Rudy G and Hillary on the 08 ballot, I'm going to have a hard time voting for Rudy.

Rudy scares me. He's not a good representative for the Republican party - he's too liberal. I don't know anything about Ron Paul.

I'd like to see Mitt Romney run. He knows how to work with people, he's pulled businesses, the Olympics, and the state of Mass. out of financial distress and back into the black.

I know there are those who are concerned about his "flipping" on some issues. I'm not. People can learn and change. He seems to have done that. What really concerns me is that there are those who might allow their religious bigotry decide against him even though they agree with him on how to handle the issues our nation faces.

    Rudy is the guy.

He has great competence as an executive - mayor of NY is more complicated than being mayor of most states. He has success in his background - bringing NY back from a crime-ridden, dangerous city that smelled like p!ss, to a beautiful, safe and viable metropolis.

He is a great pragmatist. He looks to get things done, and for solutions that will work. He's not married to his own point of view, and will compromise where the solution will actually work rather than play politics.

He knows the job of a President is to lead the executive branch and ENFORCE, not make, the laws. He knows that the President is the Commander In Chief of the armed forces, and responsible for national security. He will focus on those issues, and NOT congressional issues like health care legislation and the latest pork barrell give away.

Mike Huckabee and Duncan Hunter since they are the only two candidates who support a Life Amendment to the Constitution. Fred Thompson is pro-life but doesn't support a "Life Amendment"; what good is that? If Roe v. Wade were overturned, babies would still be murdered in many states, not murdered in others. Thankfully, some states are on track for moving society forward by making law that says if you murder a pregnant woman (and the fetus dies), you have committed TWO murders. Hopefully, this shows that America is moving toward protecting and respecting all human life.

Huckabee is the one with executive experience as a former Governor, so in my humble opinion he should be the Republican nominee.

Huckabee. He's a standup guy (something desperately needed in the White House) and he's already beaten the Clintons TWICE in Arkansas!
