Make the tuna separately and keep the bread to the side. You also have to drain the tuna really well otherwise after a day the water will rise to the top!

Tuna stays good 2 to 3 days!

If your talking about an already made up sandwich. 1 day wrapped tight. Or you could just scrape the tuna off and put it in a container. Throw the bread out, use fresh bread to make a new sandwich later!

If your talking about just a bowl of tuna salad mixed, maybe 3 days in an air tight container in the coldest part of the refrigerator.

I never eat my tuna salad after about 3 days even in an air tight container. Just doesn't taste good. But I wouldn't eat it on bread if its been sitting for any period of time...the bread gets soggy...the thought makes me want to gag.

I've kept the tuna filling for up to a week in an air tight container. Then just restir before enjoying.

I've kept a tuna salad, with mayonnaise and boiled eggs in it for 5 days...didn't know how much longer it would have lasted...it was eaten.

If in doubt, take a tiny bit on the end of a teaspoon and put it in your mouth...if it tastes 'off'...toss it. That teensy bit will NOT harm you at all!

In fact, you can do this with anything you have doubts about...in the frig...ALWAYS check your frig's temperature and settings every day!
