Has anyone had success using affirmations to improve body image and lose weight?
Success in this area using visualization tecniques? The writer of a blog I read spoke of the water experiment that used kind loving words and critical words (I saw it in "What The Bleep?") and suggested the cells in our bodies might be equally responsive.

Self image is more important. Learn to love yourself and then you will find it easier to look after your body.
Deal with who you are and then deal with what you look like.
Fresh air and exercise not only make the body fit but the mind healthy and the emotions are lifted.
All this positive imaging may have it's value but only if you are wiling to step out there and deal with all the issues. I could visualise till the cows come home, but if I over eat and under exercise then it will do me no good.

I have always used mental imagery. This has always worked for me. Mind over matter.
