What happens when these substances mix?

1. Oil and water

2. Oil and alcohol

3. Oil, achohol and water

Which one of those mixtures are emulsified? I can't really understand this chemistry stuff.

    Go and do your own homework you.Lazy sod, and stop messing about on the internet when you should be working.

    None of theses are emulsified.

    Try to mix a few drops olive oil and plenty water. Result: a temporary mixture which quiickly separates out again.

    Add washing up liquid, or shampoo, and shake the mixture a little - or stir. Result: an emulsion. Notice that this emulsion is not transparent.

    Throw a match in each mix and you have a light show, that's what they do.
