Hello,
How many of you submit your sites/forums etc. to directories like
http://www.h-log.com/ which is free ? And how about doing paid submissions to directories like dir.yahoo.com ?

I submit every site that I have to directories. I is an easy and free way to get backlinks and thus increase your pagerank. I usually submit my sites to some paid directories, but Yahoo charges way too much for their directory and there are many others that do not charge nearly that much. I would say go for it.
