Does anyone else find it irritating when you specifically check to see if something is answered?

Does this aggravate you? When you have checked someones question for answers and none show up so you take the time to answer the question only to find out after you hit "Submit" that several people have already given the same answer? Must be a pet peeve of mine because it aggravates me. I mean if I see that someone has already given the same answer that I would give then I just move on to a different question. Just wondering if others deal with this.

Yes , wholeheartedly , I agree with you for the time you use to answer the question with information already previously submitted is indeed somewhat of an aggravation because your time could be used to greater advantage in assisting someone else with their query ; We are both in empathy with each other ! ( One of my own pet peeves is when yours is , obviously , the better answer - it is not acknowledged in a prompt and timely manner ! )

    Happy & safe hoidays ! :0)

Lol....I'm the same way...especially if the question said it was asked 5 minutes ago and 0 answers...then BOOM...10 answers after you hit submit.

    You are not alone.

It happens all the time. It only annoys me when I write what I think is a brilliant, unique answer that no one else is marvelous enough to have thought of and then---- someone did.

Doesn't bother me that much. If I really don't feel that my answer contributes more or better info than the prior ones after that happens, I just delete it. No biggie.

I answer questions, I rarely go back to see what people posted. So no I don't let little things bother me.
