I have not read the book mentioned, nevertheless I am inclined to present these thoughts for you to consider. First we should know what we mean when we talk about God. The word "God' is a title like president or king and as such they denote a particular position of authority but behind the title there is a person ,the supreme personality of God. So He is the supreme authority. Our position is that we are eternally related to Him, Just like drops from the ocean, on analysis we find that the drop contains the same qualities as the ocean but it is not the ocean. So we are the drops & He is the ocean. We are small particles of spirit, we have personality, free will, creative powers etc. but we have these qualities in a finite degree & God has these qualities in infinite quantity. We may create a small building or an aeroplane but we cannot create a planet or a bird. The real secret is that we are eternal souls in temporary material bodies, we are in illusion thinking that we are the body, I am black, white, moslem, christian, etc all temporary designations that finish when the body is finished. God is not subject to illusion He is the supreme controller, we have some little degree of control but He has complete control. So it is evident that there is a difference between God and us, we are controlled, He is the controller.

You are not God. God is you. And everyone else. Very important distinction.

Everything you are is part of God. But not everything that is God is part of you.

There is a whole other world that we are a part of. Science says that we are merely axioms firing and secretions (mind and emotions). That is certainly not true. They ignore the evidence by their own failings: Emotions.

Ever get someone to look at you when you are staring at them from behind? It isn't axioms firing or secretion, but mental waves and emotional waves. Consciousness has the ultimate power over the universe.

Source(s): Goddess and The Absolute can be substituted for God. All the same thing. There is no magic. Everything is magic. The paranormal is the normal we haven't yet understood. Minus a lot of hype and hoax of course, lol.

There's nothing special or secret about The Secret, "positive thinking" has been around for ages, and yes it works, not by magic, but by impressing people with your self-confidence. Every successful businesswoman knows that it works. The Secret was made by a video production company, they took an old idea and repackaged it into a cool video, that's all it is.

Well... in certain philosophies God is in each of us.. that makes each of us Gods.....and none of us Gods. I have been told the secret is a good boo. But, never read it.
