Use "E-mail with Yahoo!" or "Send to Mail Recipent" to add attachments in Yahoo Mail?

Question

I thought I used to be able to use the context-sensitive menu options "E-mail with Yahoo!" or "Send to Mail Recipient" when right clicking on a file in Microsoft Windows.  This used to open up Mail and have the attachments already attached, rather than having to attach files manually using the "Attach" menu option.  Recently, however, it doesn't seem to work--Yahoo Mail opens to the "Compose" window, but no files are attached.

Is there any way to restore this functionality?  Using the "Attach" feature is much more difficult than this method.

Fortunately I've never gotten a violation notice. If i ever did I'd wonder the reasoning behind it.
