Why is it that Ethan Moreau (Oilers) has a Fractured foot but has been out longer than a month?

I had a fractured foot before (plus torn tendons) . The foot healed in a month or less. (The tendons of course took a bit longer) but the injury came in October & said 2-4 weeks... tis now how many!

What's up with this? Anyone in Edmonton out there? Would appreciate some input!

Update:

I don't know what kind of Broken foot he has but I didn't have a cast on mine.

I th ink someone needs to drink some more milk (or take Calcium supplements)

I think it is kind of hard to get your skate over a cast, which he is still wearing.

Source(s): His earliest return is Dec 23rd-one game before XMas, which will mean they will wait until after the break (no pun intended) for his first game.

Yes but could you play in the NHL when you got your cast off? The foot is a key element when it comes to playing hockey. I think they are being very careful so when he does come back he won't get hurt again. I imagine he'll get in better than half a season once he does come back.
