Why is there so much road rage?

Those of you who think you know how to drive really annoy those of us who do.

5 miles over the limit may seem stupid to some people too. And I'm not against it, but you know there's someone you pass saying 'what is that idiot in a hurry for?'. People have no regard for anyone on the road but themselves. They are in their car, listening to their music or on their phone...off in their own little safe, private world (so they think). Suddenly someone passes them and messes up their whole train of thought. "What gives them the right to mess up my groove? This is my road!" could be what goes thru some people's minds.

I think the ones who really start road rage are the idiots who zip in and out of traffic. Riding bumpers and dodging 18 wheelers and scaring the heck of people on motorcycles. They drive 80+mph just so they can get home 5 minutes faster to eat a frozen dinner and watch CSI re-runs.

Basically it boils down to people thinking the road belongs to them and everyone should drive the way they do. Oh yeah, and everyone should stop or yield because they want to make a turn on an exit ramp they just missed or because they want out of a parking lot.

I suppose it's taking stress from work and home into the car where most people feel empowered and anonymous in a 2 ton vehicle, and also boxed-in looking at constantly flashing red lights.

road rage only means that the individual has alot of anger inside of them. LOL! its true, they're angry and want to takeit out on everyone else, and if ur safe, in ur care no one will hurt you!

Too many people stoned while driving.

Keep right except to pass!

every ones in a hurry to get to were every they are going.

because people that drive slower than you are morons and people that drive faster than you are idiots?
