If someone offered you a chance to take lessons on anything...?
in the privacy of your own home, and the lessons were free, what would you like to learn?

I take lessons all the time at the local adult school and City College. I've taken Spanish, ballroom dancing, Computer networking, welding, carpentry, and woodworking.
I don't know why it would have to be in the privacy of my own home unless it was something not offered at the local schools like Chippendale Dancing. :+}
How about house cleaning? It's something I always dread and put off as I can always find something that has more priority. Actually, I need to learn to do it quickly and get it over with. Or maybe I should get a cleaning person to do it for me.
GOOD question!

I would love to learn how to dance!
Dan, you said you didn't understand why any would want to learn something in the privacy of your own home. I can tell you why I would want any thing that I learned done in the privacy of my home. I am very shy and don't like people watching me learn how to do stuff.

I want to learn glass bead making. I have all the stuff, kiln and tools, but I need some lessons! If I could just get Tom and Sage Holland to come here, that would be my dream! They are some of the best glass bead makers in the world!

This one is a no brainer. it somewhat is a great risk - bounce on it !! £one hundred forty for a complete 12 months must be a backed fee and is an extremely solid deal, despite if it is team classes. in certainty - if it is team classes from time to time you study as plenty from the different scholars with the aid of fact the instructor - i might bounce on it the two way. it is an extremely low sum which will provide you a solid "kick commence" in direction of taking part in the guitar. playstation - appearing some hardship-loose math... The going fee in the united kingdom seems to be like £15 for 0.5-hour private classes. At 50 classes/year - private classes ought to fee greater like £750.... surely no longer £one hundred forty. it is fairly daft to ask if it somewhat is a "solid" fee, isn't it? No qualified expert is going to paintings for £3/hr - that's what 50 weeks/year for £one hundred forty works out to. I doubt which you as a student might take paintings at that salary, much less a completely-qualified song instructor. little doubt he's being paid 4-5 cases the fee you're paying - and despite is subsidizing this technique is paying the soundness of his fee. it somewhat is amazingly solid for you , the student.

I would like to learn to play the piano. That is one of the best musical instruments out there. I love classical music where the piano is the main instrument. It just sounds awesome.

I've been teaching myself how to hook rugs and seat cushions over the past year and am still trying to get my technique down. It would sure be nice to have an expert give me lessons and show me the ropes.

Maybe how to install hardwood flooring or some great decorative paint finish. That way I would not only learn a new skill, I'd get my house looking good, too.

Grant writing! I wanted to enroll in the class but it was $1000.00. I thought with the grant writing course, I could easily work in a 501 (c)3 non profit organization.
