As of March 1st, my Bookmarks are gone. Although I have an .htm file on my Desktop (because Tech Support couldn't figure out why this was happening), everything under the word Bookmarks is greyed out. I have IE Version 8.0.6001.18702. AT&T hasn't been able to help and Microsoft hasn't figured it out either.

I use a laptop and a wireless router connected to the modem hubby uses for his desktop. This morning I downloaded a registry cleaner program. He says since I did that, his computer keeps going to the internet interrupting what he's doing. The program is on MY hard drive. I don't think it should affect his computer. Comments?

an email that I hear is going around where you can put your own picture (or anyone else's) on the face of elves? A small program apparently comes with it and I hear it can be hysterical. I'm waiting for someone to email it to me tonight, and I can't wait to play with it.

We record shows on our DVR that we want to watch later. There are several that we'd like to save. Is there something that you can transfer shows to a DVD so you don't lose them? Thank you.

I had to do this last night at a church Christmas party. Small groups of 6 - 7 of us had to sing one song to the tune of another. We ended up singing Away In A Manger to the tune of Go Tell It On A Mountain. Let me tell you, it screwed my head up big time! One woman ended up with such a fit of giggles over the whole experience, she said she nearly wet herself. If you've never done this, give it a try.

You tell them a few things; you show them in a catalog or magazine; you give them a list. And you get nothing on it? Example: hubby asked what I want. There is this thing called a Mobius bracelet that I've wanted for years. It runs about $80 on sale. It's silver, but somewhat twisted like a ribbon. It has a particular scripture engraved on it (Love is patient, etc.). I know he goes through this catalog whenever it comes in. I even marked it "Me!". The question comes up again a few nights ago and I showed him the bracelet, told him I've wanted it for a while now. He said he didn't like it. Well, fine, but he wouldn't be wearing it. This has happened to me my whole life. Why ask me if you disregard my response? LOL! Surely I'm not alone in this experience.

Hubby and I just did. It was my hope this was something we could do together, but he'll most likely be going at different hours. I'm not the most outgoing person, and I know if I don't have someone to go with I'll lose interest. From what I've seen of fitness centers over the years, many people just stick to themselves. How would you go about making new friends if you're pretty much a shy person until people get to know you?

an aggressive driver, can't stand traffic, yells at people who don't hear him anyway, and is also a back-seat driver when not in the driver's seat? How do you deal with that person? Can't kill them...can't whack them upside the head....

Yes, we all know it's the most important meal of the day. I can't eat until I've been up for a few hours. These days I'm trying to behave myself, so I had some cinnamon and spice oat meal once I got to the office. What about you - eat or skip it?

I forgot to wish you a Happy Hanukah yesterday! Since most families that celebrate Christmas have their own personal family traditions, I wondered if you have any particular family traditions for Hanukah, other than the ceremonial aspects.
