Deer Hunting with "Lunar Phases"?

The lunar phase for this weekend says their is a poor chance of seeing any deer. Any other hunter use a lunar calendar and have luck on days that are predicted to bee poor hunting days.

Update:

So far following the lunar calendar has resulted in see ton's of deer and a dozen bucks prerut/early rut. Now it's late rut and it's a 70/30 split. I got a doe on a poor rated calendar day from 160 yards.

Actually the only thing the Lunar Calender is good for is telling Hunters when there is going to be a Full Moon. On nights that the full moon is out, Deer will feed the entire night because of the light given off reflected off the moon. This usually means "reduced" Deer herd movement the following day, but the lower Deer traffic doesn't last long, and most certainly doesn't mean you won't see Deer or Deer movement anyway.. Deer are "opportunistic" eaters and eat now and digest later due to their digestive system design. Nothing on paper will replace actual experience in Deer habits learned thru actual hunting so..... No, I don't rely on a Lunar Calender

I have tried to use it for both hunting and fishing and couldn't tell any difference in how good either was. I don't know, maybe I'm just that bad of a hunter and fisherman. However, I do know that when there is a full moon, the deer will tend to feed more at night and will not move about as much in the daytime. Full moons spell poor hunting for me.

On the night of the full moon and for a few days before and after deer will feed all night and not be active the following day.
